About CIOS
CIOS 2026 offers a fully immersive artistic experience centred on the preparation and performance of Le nozze di Figaro by W. A. Mozart.
Over an intensive period in Córdoba, participants will work on their roles through musical coaching, stage preparation and ensemble rehearsal, culminating in a semi-staged performance with orchestra.
The programme is designed for artists in transition towards the professional world, combining high-level training with real performance conditions.
What you will do
Take part in an Opera Gala performance.
Work closely with conductors, coaches and stage professionals.
Prepare your role in a structured rehearsal process.
Rehearse and perform with a professional orchestra.
Receive professional video and photo material for your career.
Performance experience
CIOS is built around stage experience.
Participants take part in a complete artistic process, including musical preparation, staging and final performances in front of an audience.
The programme concludes with a semi-staged production of Le nozze di Figaro, where each selected artist performs their assigned role.
CIOS is designed as a platform for professional transition.
Selected participants may be considered for several professional engagements with partner institutions and productions, including:
Performances within the Temporada Lírica de A Coruña
Professional opportunities at LittleOpera Zamora Festival
Concert engagements at the Real Círculo de la Amistad
Participation in future productions of Córdoba Opera Lab, including Opera en la Provincia touring season.
